Barrett the Dog needs a home

**Barrett is with a wonderful foster family in the Pennington, NJ area. He is great with other dogs and would make a great family pet**

Barrett was part of a litter of nine 4 week old puppies who were surrendered to our rescue. He was apparently born missing half of his right front leg but that physical defect hasn't slowed this fellow down at the least! By the time he was 6 weeks old Barrett had already learned to get around just fine, having no difficulty with walking, playing or even running. Our vet examined Barrett and determined there was no reason to remove the half leg that remains as long as it isn't giving him any problems.

Barrett is very playful and friendly, never showing any aggressive nature at all. He's well socialized towards people and will make a great addition to just about any home

Barrett has received all of his first year vaccinations, wormings and started on his monthly preventatives. His adopter must agree to having him neutered by the age of 6 months and providing proof of such to us. We didn't get to see either of Barrett's parents so we're not quite sure what breed he is but we were told the mom was a "medium-sized dog, possibly a Terrier mix of some type.

If you know that you can offer Barrett the home and care he deserves then please submit an application at socorescue.com
